Bypassing Drama

As you continue your day-to-day lives, many dramas may unfold, and our media is gaining much support from our unconscious addiction to drama. Step aside, and don’t allow your life to be impacted by these events.

However if some negative dramatic event confronts us personally, it may be more difficult to remain detached. The negativity may trigger unconscious memories from other times where similar, or worse events unfolded, and the old fears arise.

Send thoughts and words of forgiveness and love to those involved, and also to the old, inappropriate memories.

Wrap yourself in a cloak of compassion; listen to the stories of those suffering from negative actions; treat them with love and kindness, but do not join in their unhappiness and do not carry their energy with you. If you continue to carry the many tales of suffering and pain you hear, their weight will impact your life with negativity you cannot resolve.

It is an important art to listen, to send love and support, but not to take on the misery of others.

Instead become a signpost pointing towards a life of peace and harmony which others will see, and perhaps decide to follow.
